Pros

-Great way to meet new people -Awesome coworkers -On site living was great

Cons

-Crazy work schedule -People were always quitting, so they would force us to work unmanageable hours -Every shift was very busy, I was the only one working a lot of times so I was running around the hotel constantly trying to get everything done -Boss was the nastiest person I’ve ever met

Pros

You’re not compounded with work for extended periods Easy to get into the groove of routine Discounts on other hotels Easy to get pto time Other ways to earn extra money Able to work extra hours Overtime pay is great Holiday pay is time and a half and even if you don’t work that day you still get paid regular hours

Cons

Management seems not to prioritize guests Coworkers put off duties that end up causing issues later on Staff drama Training is half done and then you’re left to fend for yourself Guests complaints go unanswered and it falls on the staff

Pros

Great experience, you'll learn a lot! The company has great potential. Coworkers are great. Typically they genuinely care and understand

Cons

Absolutely no job security. Over worked and for some way under paid. Other similar hotels will pay more for less. Work load is kind of ridiculous for the amount of people they employ.
