Pros

Many of the staff are lovely. Great social side. Free yoga & pilates, free lunch. Each department is very different. Andrew Winch is a lovely guy.

Cons

I worked in the Accounts team and it was an incredibly harsh working environment, but I can't speak for other departments. Long hours are expected and encouraged, you will often be criticised if you need to leave on time. Unreasonable workloads, salary well below average, unreasonable planning periods given for large projects. No support or training offered. No flexibility ie working remotely. No pay reviews. Very little progression is available once you are in, you are typically stuck with your role. Staff turnover within Accounts team is very high (think 2 x more than other, larger departments) If you are sick even just for one day you will be expected to call you manager and explain in great detail exactly what is wrong with you, which can feel very invasive. They get angry if you need to take time off for a medical appointment, even if you offer to make up the time. If you are more than 1 minute late for work you will hear about it. I don't think Management like the staff.

Poor management

Pros

Great exciting projects, decent salary

Cons

Very poor management. Recently observed how an employee who would be an asset in any company has been let go, because on of the managers personal dislike. Past few months was apparent that that manager was sabotaging and confusing that employee, which led to employees constant frustration on the project and a lot of arguments with the manager. Which makes you think - is this really a good place to work if one can be let go if expressing their opinions, suggestions and disagreements?

Thank you for your thoughts, which we are grateful for you taking the time to share and put in writing. The decision to let people go from the team is never taken lightly and never without thorough consultation and feedback. Our recent decision has clearly been unsettling for you and we would welcome the opportunity to discuss this directly with you.

Pros

Free lunches and some friendly people.

Cons

The egos in this company are outrageous. Progression and experience are awful, Favouritism of certain employees at its worst. Late nights are encouraged with no overtime pay.
