      Met some great skilled techs that are still considered friends

      Management, made many promises and no matter how hard you worked and trained, they never fulfilled any of them. During the transition to AVISPL, Management left with one last promise to all its employees, that they would be forthcoming on any news of downsizing once they had more information. They day the merger was completed, made calls to employees and let the go on the spot. Funny thing is most of the management involved in providing information to there employees, all kept there positions, with some even being promoted. I would stir clear of the NY area AVISPL, unless you enjoy working hard, and given promises of promotion, only to be let down time and again.
