In general the employees provide a good environment to work in.
Cons
Too far behind on basics of the required technologies to compete in the EMS world - one new SMT line, but most of the rest of the equipment is 20+ years old, with no structured preventive maintenance program.
Many employees have been there for over 20 years as well, but the disservice to them is that there is not a quality training program that allows them to stay current with the skills required tom compete in the industry.
Absolutely nothing. Only pro is me never having to go back there.
Cons
Everything! Wellex is a electronics manufacturing company ran by Chinese people. The pay is awful at $8.00/hr regardless how many decades you work there. Facility is infested with cockroaches. Upper management and engineers are a joke (highly doubt these engineers have any degrees). Old fashioned thinking with no chance with this company growing. Jobs take no skill to do. Avoid working here unless you can't get a job at your local fast food joint.
