Pros

Excellent for gaining experience and important skills necessary to succeed in the industry. Offers a high potential for learning and personal growth in general. Great benefits.

Cons

Salary on the lower end for the industry. Promotions are often given to the manager's inner circle rather than to the most qualified person. Seemingly all departments have an extremely strong HR culture that reminded me of the bullies in middle school.

Pros

- Hybrid schedule flexibility - Comprehensive benefits - Genuine, kind people to work with - Leadership sets a positive tone and lives company values - Product is good for public interest

Cons

Being a newer public company, many solutions and processes feel like they were bolted on rather than designed from the ground up. There is little to no documentation around several key processes. Compensation is a little lower than the competition. Flexible time off is a bit of a scam. It gets the company out of having to pay out employee PTO. I would rather have standard PTO so I don't feel guilt over taking time off.
