Exceptional company culture
28 Mar 2023 - Sales Associate in Fulham, EnglandRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Exceptional company culture, with a real can-do and positive team attitude and awareness. As a forward-thinking and pro-active organisation in a typically archaic industry, we're leading the way from a sustainability and service provision stand-point - no 'competitor' comes close. Every single person within the company is accountable, responsible and inspiring to every other member of the team, inducing and promoting a highly successful environment and allowing for continuous development.
Cons
None that I can think of

Life changing employment
13 Apr 2023 - Director of Sales in London, EnglandRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Having joined Victor's sales team with no prior aviation experience and little sales experience in general, I was given a chance to work hard and earn my place in a growing business. The company has always been welcoming and I was trained well by a variety of different people both senior and junior and have always been rewarded for positive results. Being a true meritocracy, it's allowed to move through the ranks by working hard and positively contributing to the company's results, and culture. Victor has been life-changing employment for me so far, and I strongly believe that anyone with a good baseline level of aptitude and a strong desire to listen, learn, and be successful whilst being part of a close-knit team will enjoy working here. Generally speaking, the positives from my perspective are: - We have a clear sense of purpose - We have a healthy company culture and hire with this in mind - We have a fun and diverse team - Victor is a true meritocracy - Victor offers excellent earning potential via a lucrative sales commission structure - There is an abundance of experience within the team to learn from and a knowledge-sharing culture - Victor promotes from within where possible - You have the opportunity to carve your own path and be involved in things outside of your role if you wish - Victor invests in our employees - specialised training, company-wide workshops, etc - Strong trust amongst peers which means micro-management is not needed - The management team has proven themselves to be effective and compassionate leaders in adverse situations such as the pandemic, and the war in Ukraine where many of our colleagues are/were based - Fun company socials and fitness challenges - Dog-friendly office - Branded team gifts that give an increased sense of identity to the business internally as well as our strong external brand - Quarterly company wide stand ups where we share successes from the UK and US offices together recognising those that have gone above and beyond - Lovely office space - Many more
Cons
- To be successful in the on-demand private jet charter industry you have to work hard both in and outside of hours. Work-life balance is difficult for those that are driven when working in this sector. - With a management team so committed to achieving our goal to be the number one company in on-demand jet charter, there are times when it can be a high-pressure environment. That said, I feel the management team does a good job of keeping perspective and not allowing this to affect those outside of management. - Occasional lack of alignment between key stake holders and the management team running the business.

Fantastic place to grow your career and learn
28 Mar 2023 - Director in London, EnglandRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Amazing team spirit, really collaborative, young, dynamic team. Huge focus on sustainability and very credible strategy, Victor shows real leadership in this space within Business Aviation and the whole team are very proud to work here. Very nurturing environment where you can get stuck in, have a voice and learn from others.
Cons
The business is very seasonal and there can be a lot of pressure - particularly in peak summer months where there is huge demand for bookings. But the team socials are good and the atmosphere is definitely work hard, play hard in those periods.

Pros
- Purposeful mission - Lovely team - Freedom to innovate
Cons
- It can be challenging working in business aviation during a climate emergency however Victor's leading the way with its credible climate action and industry leading partnership with Neste. - It would be better spending more time with my lovely colleagues in person.

Bullied out of the job. Pretentious & unwelcoming (from my personal experience)
21 Aug 2021 - Anonymous Employee in London, EnglandRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Something extra on my CV is the only pro for me from working here sadly.
Cons
I never felt welcomed or included despite trying to fit in. Myself and others were made to feel like outcasts. If you’re not light-skinned/white and straight … then good luck at feeling a part of the team at Victor! That’s all I can say. Along with inappropriate uncomfortable unprofessional behaviour from a manager. Such a shame as this company could have so much potential. Not surprised to see so many other negative reviews here. They and their staff need to be inclusive and diverse not to mention friendlier.
