      All the cons of a startup

      Pros

      My direct team was fun to work with and had great people who cared about each other Work/life balance (mostly because people didn't care with all the layoffs)

      Cons

      Management had absolutely no vision for the future and was just looking for a way to get acquired as it was losing money fast. Kept making promises to employees the company couldn't keep, like bonuses, equity, office location, etc.

      Some nice people work there

      Cons

      - Their technology is substandard and they don't have the engineering talent to improve - Management has a buy, don't build mentality - No major media Agency will work with you because everything is substandard (no differentiator, no reason to) - Smaato has a bad reputation in the marketplace as a reseller, which isn't unfounded
