Pros

There’s still good employees there but lots of inconsistencies from the owners

Cons

Dishonest and toxic! Please stay away from this hostile work environment. Lots of unmet promises and policies change from one day to the next. They on meetings talk about not paying people

Pros

None at this place. Not even benefits.

Cons

Working at Value Build Homes was one of the most frustrating professional experiences I’ve had. The company suffers from severe disorganization, poor communication, and a work culture that feels chaotic rather than collaborative. Leadership lacks clear direction, which trickles down into every department. Priorities change constantly, processes are either undocumented or ignored, and employees are left scrambling to fix problems that could have been avoided with basic planning. Instead of empowering people to succeed, the environment creates confusion and burnout. Accountability is inconsistent. Mistakes are common because systems are broken, yet employees are often blamed for failures that stem from poor structure and unrealistic expectations. There is little support, minimal training, and no real effort to improve workflows or morale. Speaking up about problems feels risky rather than welcomed. The culture promotes stress over growth. Long hours, constant fire drills, and reactive management are treated as normal. Recognition is rare, while criticism is frequent. This leads to high turnover and a workforce that feels disengaged and undervalued. If you are looking for a workplace with stability, organization, and respect for employees, Value Build Homes is not it. The company has potential, but until leadership addresses its toxic culture and lack of structure, it remains an extremely difficult place to work.
