Pros

Benefits are decent. You get to play with some cool tech gadgets.

Cons

Wow, where do I begin? If you want to be part of a bunch who doesn't know what they are doing, enjoy lower than average pay and god-complex management this is the place for you. If not, please check any other competitor that is indeed doing a great job and offering a real career path. I can't say much about their European operations, but here in the US they are completely lost. Every 3 months we receive emails from management "re-structuring" the company, meaning few people have been fired and few other people changed their positions, just to massage their egos. Managers go above and beyond to save their jobs, meaning they will throw you in front of the bus if that means saving their lifestyle, because they know they wouldn't make it elsewhere. They haven't added a big client in over a year and have been firing people with higher paychecks, which makes me suspect they are just clearing the books to sell the company. Global management is a joke, i'm pretty sure they are in just for the luxury traveling. Don't trust the newly positive reviews, they have been going around asking current employees to give good reviews because with the low compensation they offer they are having a tough time trying to hire people. If you are still on the fence just think there is a big reason you never heard about valtech before.

Thank you for taking time to post your opinion. Valtech is committed to asking for feedback so we can make improvements on the topics that are most important to our employees. We gather this information by having one-on-one meetings, employment engagement surveys and by asking employees to post their honest reviews on glassdoor. The information that is received is used to make improvements that are most important to our #1 asset, people. Our goal is to provide phenomenal service and products to our clients by giving 110%. This sometimes means that we make changes to a project team or promote from within. Valtech enjoys using creativity with our clients to exceed their expectations. The size of the client does not matter, as all clients are important and a priority. We are optimistic that Valtech’s success will continue by making changes and challenging ourselves daily to be better than the day before. Pros

Located in the heart of meat packing district.

Cons

Very toxic environment for any female working in the advertising world. This is my second job ever, and I find myself being ridiculed on a daily basis. I am here to learn how to be a better project manager, and there has been no conscious effort to welcome my feedback. I am alone in a very masculine organization and i feel unwelcome. To anyone being recruited, the reciters who speak to you will not tell you the truth. I was promised over 1 month of vacation, but that was not delivered in my offer letter

Pros

Clients portfolio, interesting verticals, fast-paced projects (when they're coming in)

Cons

I joined Valtech when my company was acquired. My experience over the last year has ranged from neutral to downright abysmal. This review is mainly for those in the same acquisition boat--I am not sure how my opinion would be if I had just joined Valtech outright. During the process of merging into broader Valtech, my company had to make several large changes to operations and workflow within a very short amount of time. Management claimed these would be rolled out with advanced notice, but communication broke down quickly and my coworkers and I had no visibility into what was coming next, what would change in our daily work, and why this was happening. Fair, constructive feedback was met with hostility and retaliation from management who were seemingly unable to handle the idea that they were in the wrong. There's gatekeeping of information and gaslighting of employee feedback and complaints under the guise that this is all normal for an acquired company. Recently some folks were laid off with no notice to their functional groups and operational teams--some people who were fired literally did a 6AM deployment and were gone by lunch. There has been extremely limited communication on what happens next, who will be taking those folks' workload, and how we can expect our daily operations to change. TLDR; if you're acquired anticipate that your work will change, your team will be broken up, and you'll be made to feel like you're the problem if you raise concerns
