The tech team, prior to decimation, was amazing. The design team was top notch. The people in the trenches were always great to work with on projects.

Cons

Where to start? Every few years, a new direction was attempted. Either an office being opened somewhere it wasn't needed, or an attempt to forge a new identity, UM was never able to settle on what it was after Adobe shut down Flex. Combine that with a rotating door of inept sr sales executives who had the next brilliant idea (and didn't), inept marketing executives, and leadership that got embroiled in a rather unsavory sex scandal, you get a company that became its own worst enemy. It forgot that its most valuable assets are their employees, and treated them as commodities.

Remote work, pockets of very talented people, mundane work. Used to be a great place to work but management and vision changes pivoted a great company into a pit.

Cons

All hat no cattle. Empowers the toxic and inept.
