Business outlook
Pros
The small size, about 30 employees, gives the company a friendly family feel. An excellent product made fairly well means the company is growing exponentially.
Cons
Weak leadership means policies are put in place but not followed. Growing pains require that policies and procedures be more spelled out, and followed. For example, a 90-day review is supposed to be conducted on new employees. My review would never have happened if I hadn't asked for it at 120 days. Performance feedback is haphazard at best. Ample PTO and holidays are given, but other benefits are sparse.
