Downhill from the start

Pros

There aren’t many but some of the people are nice and try to do their best with the limitations in place. The foundation does nice charity work.

Cons

Confused purpose and product lines that is leaving existing customers to play catch up and usually means spending a lot more or losing out, they don’t do a lot to help existing clients. Internally it is a mess. Multiple changes in really short spaces of time that continue to disrupt. Unrealistic demands made without support or time provision. In the first 6 months 2 leader changes, the next 6 months another 2. A bonus scheme introduced that made employees worse off by some distance. Employee feedback ignored or used to confront team members when it is meant to be anonymous. The list goes on. Appalling treatment and behaviour by what should be a world class company. This experience has shown me they are anything but world class and their stock in the gutter is where it should be. Don’t join or you’ll regret it. They’ve laid off loads, they’ve got rid of lots of teams completely, including engineering QA. Although not unique they only hire now where people are cheap. For a billion dollar company I expected so much more. I was excited and then destroyed.

Pros

Great pay. They are sitting on 900m of cash from their IPO they swindled their investors. So they have a warchest to spend on talent. But that's it.

Cons

So many. The product is flawed. It is more marketing and vaporware than actual product. There is a strong undercurrent of white supremacy especially in Europe. Leadership is full of failed big tech sales people. Very unethical and very focused on just making money. You will be destroyed and you will leave feeling very dirty with your life. Do not join if you want to ensure you have a sustainable career.

Pros

Good perks. You can find good people to work with.

Cons

Leadership is extremely chaotic with constant top-down changes that create confusion and low morale across the organization. The CEO resigned abruptly after only four months in the role, which speaks volumes about the instability at the executive level. Strategic priorities shift frequently without clear communication or explanation, making it nearly impossible to plan for the long term or understand where the company is actually headed. Reorganizations happen all the time, often dissolving entire teams without proper notice or rationale, leaving employees feeling insecure about their roles and futures. Communication from leadership is severely lacking, and employees often learn about major company changes through external news sources rather than internal announcements. There's a noticeable broculture problem with very few women in senior leadership positions, and the communication style from management can be abrasive and non-inclusive. The company announced a 10% workforce reduction affecting over 400 employees, which only added to the climate of uncertainty and fear. Leadership seems overly focused on sales metrics and hitting numbers, sometimes at the expense of product quality, employee wellbeing, and other critical departments. Internal politics have gotten worse since the transition from startup to public company, largely due to an influx of executives from traditional big tech companies who brought heavy bureaucracy with them. Poor financial execution and guidance that keeps getting lowered show that leadership struggles with basic planning and strategy. Overall, the leadership feels reactive rather than proactive, lacking a coherent vision for the company's future and failing to inspire confidence in employees or investors.

Pros

Fully remote job. Many talented people to work with in the Commercial SRE Team.

Cons

FedRAMP team High stress environment. Management does not care or concern itself with unrealistic demands placed on product teams. Having to manage 5 different teams and multiple unique issues/needs per team to onboard with no assistance from other team members led to absolute chaos resulting in a India based team member claiming it was too chaotic to work with me! Was never allowed to defend myself and was ordered to resign!

Pros

Have Great Pay. And Good benefits.

Cons

Pathetic management. Highly non-inclusive environment. Managers are highly susceptible to keep their region's people. If you are not one of them, either keep grinding till layoff, or just resign for your peace. There is a big price for the great pay, and unfortunately, pay is the only good thing. No work life balance. Forget about your life while you're here.
