The most toxic aspect of this place is hands down the culture of micromanagement. An entire ‘quality’ team whose only job is to scrutinise your calls and pick you apart all day long, some of which haven’t done your job in years. Being called out in the chat for anything under the sun, whilst shouting across the room that there’s calls in the queue - seriously? Is this high school? Just a sea of people who are loud and who want to be noticed. Not to mention the absolute lack of professionalism from the so called Team Leaders, having experienced being spoken ill of whilst being absent from with due to sickness, said Team Leaders thought it would be productive to bad mouth me to their entire team for a mistake I made - this workplace is allergic to people making honest human, mistakes. As well as this, the constant messaging that surely constitutes as cyber bullying and harassment from the sheer volume about calls in the queue, tasks etc is just a disgusting way to work and be treated. All this job did was pick me apart, and I felt constantly bombarded with unsolicited criticisms from every person. Promotes people who definitely were high school bullies and mean girls so middle and upper management is just one big joke and I have seen people speak to others in such an appalling and condescending manner that I was embarrassed to even be present. As well as this, the harassment from all angles to stay after your paid shift has ended EVERY DAY has to be a crime, and the persistent guilt tripping if you don’t deign to stay for ages after your shift is the craziest and most obvious gaslighting I have ever seen in the workplace. Not to mention the recruiting for not even middle management being as secretive as getting a job in MI5. Avoid this place if you have respect for your own health and wellbeing.
