A month of applying and interviewing, 2 months waiting to start, a week into the job and within a 1 minute phone call you're 'let go' because they've "consolidated their department workload" and "your role no longer exists". At least 3 within 1 department that I know of let go at the same time without any warning. Do not place yourself under any financial burden for this company - do not relocate for a role, do not believe anyone is going to pay you until the money is in your account, do not consider your job secure.I was let go before I even had a chance to set up my payroll. TQUK does not care about you. I don't know whether they lost some funding for their 'grand expansion' they wouldn't stop talking about or they run their business so poorly they aren't aware they've overhired for half the department. Shocking contact with management, incredibly brief phone call for my dismissal and then more focussed on getting their equipment back than how they could possibly waste months of my time and finances on what should've been a long term and stable career starter. I have truly been screwed over ny TQUK. Wasting almost half a year from job advertisement to now, all on a job that barely lasted a week. All that time I could've been job hunting for a role that actually exists with a company with any shred of common decency. I wasn't aware so-called 'businesses' could still operate like this in this day and age. AVOID TQUK like the plague

TQUK is honestly a soul destroying and manipulative place to work. All of their 'values' are just excuses to underpay, undervalue and overwork their workers and make sure that their workers don't complain. When they say be courteous they mean shut up and take all the work and abuse I give you. When they say be a team worker they mean stay behind two extra hours without pay, take the work home with you and still be behind because we have no structure and don't care about your wellbeing or enough to pay you. If you make a mistake which you will because the work load is extremely intense and high volume that no one can do their job properly just know that you will become the scapegoat for all your team problems. Your manager will throw you under the bus because you are in the end disposable to them. They'll give you no warning and fire you. Jobs are hard sure but they're not meant to destroy you nor are they meant to take advantage of you. Remember that you are valuable and if you were good enough to get an interview at TQUK trust me you can get an even better job somewhere else and they'll actually treat you properly! stay away from TQUK, honestly you would have better time working in a warehouse then over there. don't let any of their stupid clubs and fake hospitality fool you. be smart and wary and don't work there. Also the positive reviews are written by management because no one would ever give them 5 unless their life depended on it.
