Pros

Not much pro anymore. This company WAS wonderful. The therapists and business employees are kind and truly care about the kids.

Cons

In my opinion and experience- Since the ownership change in June of 2025, the company has started to focus more on money and not the kids or employees. Compensation was low- but there were other perks that made it worth the lower rates. All perks and benefits have disappeared- this was the first time in my career that I’ve ever not received any type of present or bonus at Christmas. As of March 2026, a new co- owner has taken over and completely run out the ENTIRE business department. You think I’m kidding/ I’m not. Employees that have been there upwards of 24 years walked out same day. And this all happened in the span of two weeks. The new owners are running a long standing and deeply respected company into the ground with the force of a dictator. No professionalism at all..it took two weeks for any kind of formal introduction to happen and in those two weeks, staff was terrified for their jobs. When introductions did happen, they were met with instant and drastic rule changes and demands. It truly saddens me to have to write this because I loved this company. But I would strongly recommend staying away from this place while these two men own the business.

Pros

The good: As an institution for over 40 years in the Tulsa area, TherapyWorks has become well respected in the pediatric therapy space. The Occupational, Physical, and Speech therapists provide care that is second-to-none in the region.

Cons

The bad: The organization has been though quite a bit of turmoil over the past year with new owners stepping in at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. While the husband and wife team seem to mean well, they lack experience in leadership, culture development, strategic planning, and perhaps most importantly, healthcare delivery.

New ownership is killing this place

Pros

Staff and employees are amazing, everyone pour their hearts for the children and for the memory of what TW used to be.

Cons

The new owner (whom I s not the ones showing here)shows little regard for employees or the families we serve, with a strong focus placed almost entirely on profit. There appears to be minimal interest in building relationships with staff or maintaining a positive and supportive work environment. Many of the elements that once made this a great place to work have been removed. Since the change in ownership, several long-term employees have left their positions quickly after years of dedication, seemingly without acknowledgment or concern from leadership. This has had a noticeable impact on morale and overall workplace stability. Additionally, the owner appears to have limited experience or understanding of the field, which further contributes to the challenges within the organization. AVOID THIS PLACE. Don’t go work for them.
