Pros

The only pro I can think of is that you can tell to your friends that you work for a US based company and they think you are so cool for landing a remote US based company job!

Cons

Where do I start? There are so many that I don't know where to even begin! 1. The Founder/Owner is an absolute megalomania who expects you to be working 24x7 and would still say you didn't do enough. 2. You won't get any access to the Social Media accounts or after asking the owner many many times you would get very limited access and can't actually do much. 3. Even if you were employed for Marketing you would be expected to do Graphic Design and Video editing and the owner will say that you are not doing enough designs/ working enough. 4. No team work should take place as the owner insists to be the centre piece in all the things and would not want you and the team to be talking among yourselves since he considers that as betrayal. (Most probably because he thinks you all would be scheming behind his back) 5. No scheduled meeting. Forget getting a scheduled meeting email, everyone has to individually ask the owner in WhatApp whether there is a meeting. Oh! and you have to ask this more than once. Else, he will say you are not interested in working. 6. During interview, The owner said that there "might" be meetings at night (which is morning for him) so that he can get an update on what is going on. These meetings he said would not be longer than 2-3 hours. from 9 PM to 11 PM Max. Which sounds fine except these meetings went on till 3AM in the morning EVERYDAY! Most of the meeting would be him just rambling and eating and would want you to keep your video on all the time so that he can monitor you like you are some school kid! 7. No leaves! Even if you are being carried to a hospital in an ambuance and would be put on drips. He would insist you message him for a while so that he can tell about the tasks you need to do. Also, he would expect you to be grateful for him not deducting the leave days pay. (Bare in mind this was for a medical emergency) 8. After you come back from you leave, he would expect you to apologize for him many many times and if you don't he would not add you in the meetings. (But he would expect you to send meeting request on zoom which he won't accept) 9. Salary - The salary won't be credited on the said date. If you are lucky, he would credit it on the 1st of the month. If not, he would tell you that he has credited it and you are yet to receive it. Some of our team mates only got their salary after 7-8 days of constantly asking him. 10. Finally, No job security! Yes, he could simply call you up one day and say you are fired because you didn't do the amount of work he expected you to do or be available 24X7 on call (including weekends) .

Pros

The sole positive aspect is the provision of remote work.

Cons

Working at Sapience LLC was an absolute nightmare. Brace yourself for 12-hour workdays, often throughout the night, with absurd expectations. The interview process was a joke – no HR, just the CEO and the so-called Director cutting you off at every turn and forcing a rushed start within seven days. Salary discrepancies were a constant source of stress, with promised salaries that never saw the light of day. The toxic work culture is beyond belief, filled with discomfort, unease, and an utter lack of respect from management. Get ready to shoulder blame for others' mistakes. Training opportunities are virtually non-existent, leaving employees struggling to develop their skills. Transparency? Forget about it. Overseas employees receive no payslips, adding to the frustration. Departing is a bureaucratic nightmare – no experience or relieving letters, just more uncertainty. Communication standards are stuck in the past, relying heavily on WhatsApp for official business. The leave policy is a joke, offering no support for a healthy work-life balance, even during holidays. Unprofessional behavior from the CEO is par for the course – inappropriate language, smoking, and questionable interactions during meetings. Inconsistencies in job titles and zero team support contribute to a toxic work environment. Job security is a joke too – abrupt terminations based on unrealistically high performance expectations, leaving you in constant fear and ensuring that the full & final settlement never happens. In summary, Sapience LLC is a black hole for your well-being and professional growth. Poor work-life balance, broken promises, and a toxic culture make it a workplace to avoid at all costs.

Pros

The only pros which can be stated is that company will provide a remote job.

Cons

"My experience working at Sapience LLC was disappointing due to several issues that I believe potential employees should be aware of: 1) Work Timings: The work schedule was demanding, often requiring extended hours, which made it challenging to maintain a healthy work-life balance. There were instances of work assignments that went well beyond regular working hours. 2) Lack of HR Support: During the interview process, I encountered a lack of HR involvement, with interviews being conducted solely by the CEO and founder, which felt unconventional and disheartening. 3) Salary Discrepancy: The company experienced consistent issues with salary discrepancies, leading to financial stress. Promised salaries were not always fully delivered, with reasons provided relating to currency exchange rates. 4) Work Culture: The work environment fostered discomfort and unease, with a lack of respect from management. Communication with the CEO could be challenging, often resulting in unprofessional interactions. 5) Limited Training Opportunities 6) Absence of Payslips for Overseas Employees 7) No Experience/Relieving Letters 8) Reliance on WhatsApp for Communication 9) Limited Leave Policy, including Indian and American holidays 10) Misleading Hike Promises 11) Unprofessional Behavior: Instances of unprofessional behavior from the CEO, including the use of inappropriate language and smoking during meetings. 12) Designation Discrepancies 13) Lack of Team Support 14) Job Security Concerns: A lack of job security, with abrupt terminations based on performance expectations that were often unreasonably high. In summary, my experience at Sapience LLC was challenging, and I would caution potential employees to carefully consider these aspects before joining. It was not a positive or supportive work environment."
