1. manager/boss has terrible management skills. when i first showed up for training, he dragged it out so much that i ended late. however, i only get paid for every 30 minutes i work OT & when he realised it was five minutes left till i OTed for 30 minutes & he would have to pay, he quickly asked me to leave despite not training me on everything.
2. 2nd day i was fully alone, despite not being fully trained. also, he said the pay was like $8/hr for the first month since its ny TRAINING month, but he only trained me for a day (not even everything btw) and was left alone the next day i worked. only 'training' he did was constantly checking the cctv and spamming you on call/text if he sees you're not doing something right like turning on a switch
3. also if you ever fall sick & miss work, just know he will kp you like crazy. i felt ill after working an opening shift & told him i wont be going for work the next day & would take an MC for it, yet i got asked 'you can predict your illness?' and forced me to get an MC before 5pm despite me ending work at 430pm. how does that even make sense? and prepare to be asked silly questions like why you need to go to xxx location to see doctor when you stay at xxx.
4. disregards the schedule you sent. you can tell him that you're available on monday for opening but can't do closing and he will still put you for full shift. can't even change the schedule cause he will just ignore your texts. also, availability is sent to him on mondays, but he won't upload your schedule until the weekends. by then if you need to change schedule, you can't even do it because he doesn't allow any changes made if your shift starts in less than 7 days. can't change schedule and won't actually listen to your availabilities.
5. for the amount you're paid, he will still ask you to do other stuff while on your shift. for the pea sum of $8/hr, it's not worth it.
