Pros

If you can gain the good graces of the CEO, you will make money and be respected.

Cons

Their overall business model is somewhat confusing. After winning huge contracts ( full disclosure, my first year I did NOT hit my 400k profit goal), I was let go despite the fact that I grew their HHS business immensely with deals that, in fact, were paid out over time and would have resulted, essentially, in me being a free employee for two years because of the way the deal was financed. All I'm saying is that I'm a bit bitter that I won a single awardee $50 million dollar contract, (for a company that does 25 million a year in a good year], and was fired ten days later. I busted my butt for these guys but they used me to win this contract (which they told me not to pursue multiple times because they didn't think we could win it and I won it anyway) and then, knowing I would do anything to help the company, including doing trainings, studying and successfully gaining highly technical engineering certifications, and in fact winning deals for other employees using my skills and relationships, and also knowing that I had just proposed and was the sole breadwinner in house with myself and a law student, still let me go. Again, this company may one day be worth a billion dollars, but the owner will choose to vacation in Sweden and keep a bloated support staff (5 salespeople were responsible for generating enough income for a payroll of 20 people) before he shows patience and respect for those working for him. Side note, working from home was treated like leprosy, so I spent two years commuting 5 hours a day because they wouldn't let me have a wfh day now and again. They're good people, but they will slit your throat and throw you to the wolves if you're ever not producing 800% of profit vs your salary. In a heartbeat. They will look you in the eye and tell you they love you and that you're doing great, and then fire you the next day and have the audacity to ask if you want to stay and work the remainder of the day.

Pros

-Unlimited PTO -Small company (~100 employees), so close contact with leadership and they are pretty reachable -401K matching is decent

Cons

-Consulting firm, so you work off-site and can get bounced around between different projects -Not fond of some of the upper management. They're a little old fashioned -Small office -Terrible raise after 1 year (<3%) -Expensive health care plans

Pros

Able to win government contracts.

Cons

The compensation offered was approximately 40% lower than the industry average for similar roles in the market. This significantly below-market offer reflects a tight-fisted approach to employee compensation, which raises concerns about the company's commitment to valuing its employees. While it's understandable that companies have varying budgets, offering such a substantial difference in pay compared to industry standards can be demotivating and may affect employee retention in the long run. Bad management. No response to the emails or phone calls
