Pros

Co-workers are cool, you get weekends off

Cons

Management is money-obsessed to the point that they consistently treat their people like garbage. You will be worked to the bone for significantly less than industry standard wages.

Our core values, vision, and the success of our people are what are of the greatest importance to us. While we’re proud to have grown quickly over the last few years, we have had some bumps as a result of that growth and are working hard to make them right. We understand that taking care of our great team is the only way to succeed in business. Thanks for your feedback.

Pathetic how the CEO has to bash former employees

Pros

If there were any, they would be here

Cons

A big con has to be the CEO can’t accept that people are unhappy about their time at tech defenders and instead of taking the criticism and working on bettering his company, he comes onto sites like Glassdoor to bash former employees. When I worked for tech defenders it became clear that they stopped caring about their employees and like another review said, they tried to use pizza parties and whatever else to satisfy us instead of doing actual progress. Management is messed up here and makes employees feel bad and intimidates them. If you want to go to HR and the person you’re complaining about is buddy buddies with upper management, be prepared for that person to know it was you. If you want to advance to a higher position, be aware that it will be dragged out until you get exhausted from waiting.

Pros

The schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-5. The front-line workers, many of whom were recently unjustly let go.

Cons

Upper management is awful. They only care about the bottom line. They work people to death. Appropriate health and distancing standards not in place during COVID. Termed long-term employees who took a temporary layoff for their own health and safety during COVID. Replaced us with temps they can pay less and offer no insurance to. It's a boys club, and if you're not a white dude who wants to suck up and lick boots, you won't make it very far.

Thank you for your feedback. Like every business, new developments came in overnight and our company took swift, sweeping action to institute appropriate health and safety precautions to keep our employees safe. During the height of the pandemic, several employees requested a voluntary lay off, to which the company reluctantly agreed. We called back our strongest performers and those who align best to our core values. People who embody those values of Embracing & Driving Change, Being about the Team and Seeing What You’re Capable Of are encouraged to apply. We also have no tolerance for any sort of harassment, discrimination or racism and are committed to investigating any good-faith allegations to the contrary. We wish your review wasn’t anonymous so we could have an opportunity to chat more with you, but we do appreciate your time with us.
