Management treats employees inhumanely and shows little regard for work-life balance. Expect to work excessive hours with no real support or appreciation. Favoritism is rampant — those in the “inner circle” are protected, while others are pushed out or set up to fail. The culture is divisive, isolating, and unsupportive. It’s clear that leadership prioritizes appearances over people. For J‑1 workers: housing is extremely poor, transportation options are limited, and you’ll often have to walk over a mile in the snow just to get to work.
