Pros

Learn a lot about business, organizations, talent mapping. Communicate with people with very senior positions in different countries.

Cons

Boring, sometimes, especially when no active project handled, but it's part of the project cycle.

Pros

TWI is a brilliant place to hone headhunt and search skills, as well as presentation skills. You'll learn tenacity like never before. Exposure to leading brands Incentives available, and twice yearly treats for employees (days out etc). Decent healthcare cover. Hours can be very long (often in office until 10pm at night), but this is rewarded with treats like pizza. Great place to gain experience - recognised as a source of in-house recruiters, so use TWI as a stepping stone in your career.

Cons

Incredibly high staff turnover. Ethics can be dubious. There are instances of bullying which are not addressed Lack of support and feedback for employees Favouritism negatively impacts the working environment.

Pros

• You do get to work with some impressive clients • You do get to work in a stylish office, it's nice to have a distraction from the fresh hell that awaits you each day

Cons

• Don't step out of your lane, know your place and agree with everything • Don't worry about bringing experience with you, this will be pushed to the side anyway and you will be micromanaged within an inch • Don't get too close to the person sitting next to you, they won't be there long - it's revolving door of staff • Don't get too comfortable, you're only as good as your last project. Your past experience will count for nothing if you don’t shine every time, irrespective of the circumstances or challenges you face during the project • Don't expect to be supported - you're on your own. First sign of an issue or challenge, wait to be pushed under the bus to make others look good • Do make friendships with key people, this will help with incentives and promotions • Do expect to put the extra hours in, how else are you going to deliver several over-stretched projects in different timezones? (........but don't expect to be thanked) • Do expect double standards and hypocritical behaviour. It doesn’t matter if others are able to work from home or do a 3 day week around their studies - you can’t • Do expect to be managed by people with limited experience and/or professional decorum • Do wonder why you're here?
