Pros

None – Career irresponsibility if you chose to work here. (The talented people I mention in the Cons section deserve the respect of mention in this Pros section, I applaud your willingness to suffer)

Cons

Federal Indictments, with merit, against the owners of the company. They have only stepped down on paper. They still pull the strings and run the company as 1099 employees. They run the business on dirty money and contracts. One of their current business advisors is Dennis Kozlowski of Tyco fame (look him up on the internet). Only a few talented people work here and unfortunately they bear the majority of the burden of all the work while others sit on their hands and push work to these resources. The company would most likely come to a standstill in one of these hard working individuals quit with management standing around looking at each other saying I don’t know how to do my job without them. Said individuals get pulled into areas that aren’t even relevant to their job responsibilities because someone in the other area knows this person will do the work and do it well. Those few people mentioned above are the least appreciated and rewarded people in the company even though they carry the load. Most of them stick around because of the necessity of the job. Get in the clique. If you aren’t in the clique or at least close to or a relative of someone in this managing group, you will be treated like a lower class and ask to do their work for them with little to no recognition or reward. You will be asked to watch them get bonuses, paid absences, and raises while you get the same raise as everyone else in the company regardless of workload or performance. ZERO incentive to perform well for this company. Nepotism is bad here. Gender biased against women, hostile workplace and harassing atmosphere. Management of most areas has little experience or the leadership skill set to manage others. C Level management does not listen to or heed to the advice of those under them who have much more knowledge and experience on the subject matter at hand. This limits any quality decision making and lack of desire to make a decision by those in the company. This place sucks the “professional” out of it’s workers. Poor Benefits. Expensive Health insurance, no 401k matching, etc. Be aware that they will try to bait you in by telling you lies about the company and offering you a fancy title and more money than you would expect or have asked for. Be very wary of this because if you take the money and after a time you will want to leave, and believe me you will want to leave, finding another comparable job at the same salary will be difficult. It is how they trap you there. There is a reason they do this, it is because they aren’t able to attract talented people and dangle the important things (title and money) if front of gullible people who take the bait. The majority of the time they hire their 3rd or 4th choice. If it seems too good for your skill set you should proceed with caution.

Pros

Most of the employees are great to work with. Relaxed atmosphere

Cons

Owners are under indictment for bribing a government official (public knowledge) Company is run by a clique of friends and relatives Lack of basic business knowledge at the senior level is astounding Only two levels of the organization, the clique and everyone else On top of all that, pay is below average (if not in the clique) Surprising lack of diversity and not female friendly

Pros

Casual dress code, free coffee.

Cons

Very cliquish, I felt like I was back in high-school. Management is inexperienced and incompetent, the same issues are brought up in meetings over and over again with no resolution. People are incredibly lazy and "work from home" even though they're never online and roll into the office at around 10am and leave at 3pm if at all. Horrible benefits, expensive insurance, no 401k matching, no PTO or sick days when you start. Office is so cramped management sits in call-center sized cubes and senior management share offices. Office has a tin roof and it is deafeningly loud when it rains.
