RecommendsNo Opinion of CEOI worked at Swissgrid full-time
Pros
- Sense of purpose: maintain the electric grid up and running 24/7/365, for the benefit of the swiss economy. - Technical environment: high voltage substations with Gas Insulated Switchgear / Secondary Automation Systems / Transformers, with overhead lines or cables in between (requiring specialist construction skills). - Highly experienced colleagues from whom one can learn a great deal about all of the above on... a daily basis - Young company (10 years old) => a lot to be developed, to complement a lot already working well
Show MoreCons
Leadership culture (emotional reactions instead of proportionate responses), leading to fear across middle management
Advice to Management
Continue developing the infrastructure physically and digitally, to position Switzerland as a key partner in Europe, not only geographically, but also technologically In a role of apex customer in the industry, set the bar for environmental standards higher
