Pros

It's a job. And there are benefits.

Cons

Editors are, let us say, not the best in the industry. Upper-level management does not command respect.

Thank you for the review and the time you invested in our organization. We apply consistent and market-competitive compensation practices so we may attract, reward and retain high-performing talent with a commitment to strengthening our culture. Our leadership team understands that our employees are critical to our success and attracting and retaining top talent remains a priority as we continue in our transformation. We are excited about the experienced leadership team in South Florida: GM Nancy Meyer, Editor-in-Chief Julie Anderson and Managing Editor Dana Banker, who are collaborating to drive digital change, grow our revenue and provide quality journalism to these local communities. We were also honored this April when this South Florida Sun Sentinel team won a Pulitzer Prize for Public Service for their coverage of the Parkland shootings. This is Sun Sentinel’s second Pulitzer and the 61st Pulitzer for Tribune Publishing overall.
