Pros

There are NO pros at all!!!

Cons

If your dream is to sell Spectrum at Walmart after working hard to get your degree, then go ahead. Any normal person with a college degree will laugh at this opportunity right away.

Thank you for taking the time to review our company, but I am afraid that you may have us confused with someone else. We do not work with Walmart or Spectrum, but I do apologize for any confusion.

Pros

Stratton has not only found my true niche in life but what I want to do as a career. I went to school for Marketing and Communications. To be quite frank, Stratton has taught me more with only being employed here for 1 month then college did in 5 years. I now know how to put my skills to the test and am actually applying those skills. Instead of sitting down and studying how to do marketing, communication, sales, and even management it is a relief that now I know what I studied for is even for me! I came out of school hopeless lost to what career path to go on. Just sitting down at the first interview something felt way more different then any other interview I've been on. I felt a sense of comfort and I saw it is a new organization which mean it is a growing organization. Which has its pros and cons. I thought they would lack structure for being as new as they are. Nope! First day of coming in they knew exactly what to do. Got my paper work done as soon as I got there. Then hit the training room which was at my pace! I've learned so much during there trainings and I was more than comfortable to pursue the rest of my journey as a Stratton Knight! Very goal oriented. Crazy thing is they ask me what my goals are and they help me hit my goals, not the companies. Culture was a big thing for me a career path that I can actually wake up and not mind being around the people I work with on a day to day basis. Its all positivity at Stratton.

Cons

I was a little Leary of the hours coming right out of college working 40 hours. But, I know if I want something I'm going to put in the time and effort to achieve my personal goals.

Pros

Positive people but very fake and plastic

Cons

Low pay minimum wage. Long hours, barley one day off a week. No compensation for using your own car and gas everyday. ( maybe once or if sent on a road trip) part of the slave circle (smart circle). Or devil corps. Do not fall for the scheme. Everyday is standing in a sams club or a bjs simply selling direct tv or a another energy supplier. That is all. All of the names you see on indeed and zip recruiter for this job are all the sam job. Being a salesmen in a retailer. They will try to sell you on the idea of becoming a owner and having your own office. If you manage to to some how survive idea of scrapping by on minimum wage and the excuses of not getting your rightful pay check almost evey other week. If you have real bills.. THIS JOB IS NOT FOR YOU. this job is for people who live at home or do not need a lot of money. If you wanna break your back for bread crumbs, go for it. Don't let the suits and ties fool you. Especially if you have a degree not a place for any grad. This is not the only one. Look into the slave circle. Or simply go to devil corps website. Read all about it. And no im not just upset with my job im an adult. How ever i dont want to see young people in their 20s giving up life opportunities for the so called " big picture" . Also a lot of holidays are not off.

We appreciate your feedback but would like to clarify on few things. We do have several open positions within our company at the moment. You applied for a sales position, that being said all of our positions offer a highly competitive salary and commission based pay scale. Some with eligibility for bonuses and many other perks, all based off of your background and qualifications. Also, we hire above minimum wage standards in the Albany, New York area, so when you reference wages being low I do not understand? Also, It is unfortunate you feel like the potential for you to have become an owner was merely an idea. As a company, we have goals of expansion and growth. Lying and "selling" our employees on an idea is not a feasible way to achieve these goals. This job is for those who do see the "big picture" and make plans to achieve it and not think of it as merely an idea. As for the information and websites you are saying to google are regarding other companies and not applicable to us given we are a private marking firm, therefore one of a kind. We appreciate your time spent with us and do regret that we were unable to provide you with what you wanted within your career. We wish you the best; please let us know if you need any references for your future employment opportunities.
