      Pros

      Great younger staff/work environment. Great office to work in. Good competitive pay/benefits.

      Cons

      Not a design firm they claim to be or want to be. Very old school thinking and leadership mentality, Afraid of change and innovation. If it is not within the Strang "standard" it will be brought into question and revised. Claim to be transparent and family oriented, yet consistent blind layoffs. I've seen many come and let go. Does not matter your title or position and seniority. Only people safe here are the board members. Be prepare to be blind sided.

      If you like outlandish titles you didn't earn, this is the place for you!

      Cons

      Gives staff titles like "manager" or "director" to appear as if they are putting their very best on project interviews. If you are not a "yes sir" or "yes ma'am" person with specific individuals in leadership, you will not last long.

      Pros

      The people were great, very professional. Invest a lot of money in staff and activities.

      Cons

      Regular layoffs. They seem to prefer a certain qty of people at the firm, so when they hire more, they'll lay off more. So many layoffs that a club has formed that consists of only past Strang employees. Leaders are very linear. You feel like cog in a machine. Culture is that you work through your lunch, never be seen away from your desk, don't use the summer hours they offer, and expect minimum of 50 hours. You always wonder who will be laid off next.
