Pros

- The product and work is exciting - Business is “on the up” definitely - Normal employees are really friendly generally - Most of us have recently been given decent raises, some above market - Good office lunches, parties, drinks, snacks - New office location is convenient, end of trip facilities and building amenities are nice - Founder CEO seems genuine, but newly returned

Cons

- Some more toxic teams and C levels - Marketing is constantly firing and hiring - CMO and CTO both really polarizing and cliquey and both make comments to other ladies that are uncomfortable - ‘3 days in office’ but we all know 4 is strongly preferred - Many people work a lot of out of hours or overtime work, I’ve seen CS, Product, Recruiters, Operations and Engineers in the office at 8pm multiple times - HR team don’t do anything? Except cut benefits and make documents about nothing - Some teams are really under resourced compared to others. - Takes a while to recognise over performing employees - Not enough seats for the office days they want

Pros

Lots of learning opportunities. Company generous with perks, snacks and events.

Cons

Very high pressure environment. Lots of blaming happening when there are errors. People are clique-ish. Majority of new starters don’t make it past probation.

Pros

Good work ethic to getting things done

Cons

Finance bro culture just oozing all over the place Real lack of women in key positions which attributes to action above Ideas come from a select few and they need to learn how to expand out of that mindset There are people in middle management positions who have no leadership capabilities but are only there because they could do their jobs well before and the company then grew
