Pros

Interviews were great - full of hope and possibility

Cons

BOD and leadership haven't changed since inception making organization stagnant as it churns through great people. Leadership manages staff via yelling and shaming. Gross. Read the other reviews and don't waste your time.

Pros

Access to a Network of experts. Note: the "Network" of experts are all external (Advisors, Council Members, Alumnae , etc).

Cons

The culture and management style at Springboard Enterprises is hostile and dysfunctional. No matter the amount of interest you show, responsibilities you take on, or projects you execute, your contributions will be dismissed, unnoticed, and unappreciated. The bottom line is that Amy (President) does not trust her employees. She will disrespect, micro-manage, and belittle you daily. You will quickly notice that she treats everyone this way. The first red flag should have been when she told me that employees are not allowed to change their company email passwords because she spends her weekends reading your emails. This is not a joke - I wish it was. The extreme lack of effective communication throughout the company creates an atmosphere of uncertainty, confusion, poor teamwork, and tension. Pretty sad when the entire company itself only consists of 5-10 employees. Work/life balance does not exist and there is zero flexibility with remote work. You will be judged if you leave the office before 7pm on any given day and you will be expected to work on the weekends and check emails 24/7. You may want to justify working for Springboard by thinking that you’re supporting female entrepreneurs and making a positive impact, but the truth is there are better opportunities out there that are making a much bigger impact. Seek those out, and do not waste your time here. You will most likely quit within 1 to 6 months, as most people do. I DO NOT, under any circumstances, recommend taking a job with Springboard Enterprises. You will regret it.

Pros

Amazing network of wonderful influencers.

Cons

Turn over is dangerously high. The management at this organization is down right abusive. My advice to anyone considering a position here is DO NOT take the job. It's not worth it. Hold out for something more stable. The average employee makes it 1 to 6 months. It will hurt your resume to job hop and any position in this organization is not sustainable.
