This company has broken labor laws by not paying their employees on time and giving zero notice when they are aware of the situation. I know this because they left their firefly notes up for the whole company to see, and they discussed the fact that they knew that they would not be able to pay us, and they told us the day our checks were due. Talk about being unprofessional, they don't even know how to be smart. They will take advantage of you as an employee, talk about you behind your back and claim that you are only working 2 hrs a day when what's really happening is their own business is a sham, and they do not know how to run it themselves. While working at SourceCo, almost every single person I knew at the company quit and I was lucky to get out while I did. The management has no idea how to run a company, and they walk the line of being fraudulent. They claim expected earnings to be "100k" for an analyst. Don't believe anything they say! Even the most successful analyst was not even close to making that much. Also the bonuses that they "incentivized" us with are never written in paper unless you force them to do so, and even if it is, they still won't pay it because they don't have the money to do so. I basically had to threaten legal action so that I would get paid on time, and this company caused me and everyone I know that worked there immense stress because they cannot pay their employees the money they owe them. The CEO could not even successfully run a hot dog stand.. he knows nothing about PE and deal making, just check his arguments with people on LinkedIn. If you are thinking about taking a job here, do yourself a favor and go get a job just about anywhere else, I promise you will be better off. I just hope this post saves someone the anguish of having to work for these people, because trust me you're better off working for a restaurant, at least you'll get paid on time.
Now let's talk about the deals they have sourced as a company. Nothing!!! While at SourceCo they could not pay our bonuses that should be paid out on a monthly basis. Out of the year I worked there I got paid my bonus once. They are truly dishonest people and I do not say that lightly. They cannot even get their own clients to pay them a monthly retainer. Looking back, I should have seen the signs from the beginning and I regret ever working for someone who is so incompetent and lackadaisical in a space where intelligence and professionalism matter more than anything. Not taking zoom calls with a client from your car wearing a t shirt looking around every 5 seconds saying "uhhhh" - and they wonder why their clients stop paying them. Best the CEO go back to running a hot dog stand, although, even that may be too complicated for him.
