Pros
Brain drain and unlimited coffee
Cons
Working at Software Finder has been a significantly underwhelming experience, and unfortunately, it's not a place I can recommend to anyone seeking a dynamic and supportive work environment. Management seems disconnected from the daily struggles of the team and is often unresponsive to feedback. The company culture is lackluster, with little to no effort made to foster team spirit or collaboration. The workload is consistently overwhelming, with unrealistic expectations set on employees without adequate resources or support. There is also a noticeable lack of opportunities for professional growth or career advancement, making it feel like you're stuck in a dead-end job. Transparency is minimal, and decisions are often made behind closed doors, leaving employees feeling undervalued and out of the loop. Compensation and benefits are below industry standards, which is surprising considering the demands placed on the staff. The tech stack is outdated, and suggestions for improvement. While the prospect of working at a tech company might seem appealing, Software Finder falls short in providing a positive work environment or respecting its employees' contributions. It's a disappointment on many levels, from culture to management, and deserves serious introspection and change.
