Employee morale is down and not a little. Since Glassdoor rating used to be 4.5. It's now down to 3.3. Employees are asked to do more with less. Some departments are outright burned out and have been for years, and requesting more bodies does nothing.

New management team and PE owners care about nothing except the bottom line. Raises and bonuses have gotten stingy and employees are constantly asked to do more with less. Executives keep hiring their friends rather than competent leaders and long-time employees are no longer considered to have valuable insights worth listening to. Benefits are the bare minimum and getting worse: time off has decreased, “incentive units” don’t vest and are probably worth nothing, education benefits disappeared, and even company parties and meetings that were once nice catered events have turned into gummy pasta from Olive Garden and breakfast from IHOP. UHC health insurance is especially terrible and company leaders refuse to consider other options.
