Pros
Solid people who work at ShipBob, they do a good job of hiring solid people, talent, and perspectives. Truly is an unliminted PTO company which is rare. Depending on the team, work/life balance is great as long as you put in the work and remain honest and dependable.
Cons
Low salary, merit increases and promotions do not keep up with cost of living and increased insurance premiums. 3 years, no disciplinary or personnel issues and was laid off for no reason provided other than just my role being eliminated. Heavy AI focus instead of investing the same millions into their people to prioritize moving faster rather than actually creating scaleable solutions. Lots of bandaids, not many lasting fixes at this company.
