      Pros

      Tampa Shiftgig is an AWSOME place to work! I love that you make your schedule to better fit your everyday schedule.The shifts are always fun and and flexible! The staff over everyone is very friendly and very easy to work with! Not to mention, Laura! She's amazing!

      Cons

      I have no issues with Shiftgig! The more shifts the better! I'm always ready to work!

      Pros

      Good work-life balance, good people, sometimes a fun atmosphere

      Cons

      Very poor communication, no direction, & uncertainty constantly looms leaving everyone in a state of anxiety and extreme discomfort. After a poorly executed "reorganization" of the company, we're seemingly worse off, doing far less revenue, way worse customer net promoter scores, zero customer service at a local level and have ZERO tools to compete with our main competitors: staffing companies. Oh right, but Shiftgig isn't a staffing company!

      Pros

      Management is always willing to hear ideas and put them into action. The office is filled with hard working, dedicated employees and you can tell everyone sincerely cares about Shiftgig and it's goals. There is an incredible team atmosphere. Shiftgig is disrupting the traditional way people find jobs, which is really fun to be a part of. I've been consistently challenged to be creative in the way I think.

      Cons

      There are some hiccups when it comes to internal processes because the company is growing so rapidly. I'm sure as time goes though, those will be streamlined more. Comp/benefits could be better but I think for the size of the company, they are pretty on par.

      - New amazing CEO and leadership team - Great company culture - Nice work benefits (unlimited vacation!) - Everyone is working towards the same goal, which makes everyone want to work harder and smarter. All departments work together to make sure everyone is on the same page with any decisions made - In the past month, you can feel how amazing the energy has become

      I Love Shiftgig!

      Pros

      You get to work whenever you want. Everything's so convenient and at the touch of your finger tips. When u go in to work a shift the management team is super nice and always full of energy! Also, perfect for networking and u get to meet sooooo many new people and interact in different environments. The energy between everyone is good considering you're choosing to work and not forced to work. It makes a huge difference with the vibes.

      Cons

      Do not ever pick up a back up shift. It literally means back up so if everyone for their shift shows up u get sent home & waisted your time.

      Pros

      Excellent management that is concerned with ensuring everyone feels valuable, Very flexible work schedule for hourly workers, encouraged to pick up any projects that you'd like outside of getting regular work done, results-driven and not necessarily concerned with "daily grind", high growth potential as headcount and revenue grow dramatically just over the course of a few months

      Cons

      Cliques seem to form within teams that can make it hard for newcomers to get acclimated, perceived difference in talent between executives/managers and employees, and due to startup nature, generally ambiguous goals tend to lead to dead-end processes and projects

      Re-Organized Mess

      Pros

      -Beautiful new office space in The Loop -Staff outings -Casual office dress code -Nice perks like a coffee bar and free lunches during staff meetings -Unlimited PTO -Young staff you would typically find in start up environments - opportunities to make friends

      Cons

      -Low pay -Company wide layoff two weeks before Christmas destroyed office culture and morale -There are seemingly little opportunities of career path or growth since reorganizing the company into new buckets -The reorg seemed rushed, there has been little direction of the company outside of people who were kept on board falling back into old (bad) habits -Lack of training when being hired. New hires seem to be lost and frustrated -The company as a whole has a very defensive mindset; everyone is fearful of criticism and are constantly looking to place blame outside of themselves. This makes collaboration a challenge, and change reluctant/nonexistent -Asking for additional resources will be like pulling teeth -The tech is glitchy. Updates and bug fixes are slow. Adding additional features is slow. There are well known workarounds to perform job functions -Senior management are able to pitch "big picture" but have little understanding or knowledge on the day to day operations -At its core, this is a temporary staffing agency, not a technology platform

      Incredibly unstable upper management, 'everyone in it for themselves' type of situation, spent lots of money on the wrong things, lots of gossip
