48% positive business outlook
Pros
Pick your own shift and
Cons
The communication is an F. The office workers are unprofessional very unprofessional. All the shifts are in Dallas. If you get a Cook position you probably be washing dishes..do not apply here
Pros
Good work-life balance, good people, sometimes a fun atmosphere
Cons
Very poor communication, no direction, & uncertainty constantly looms leaving everyone in a state of anxiety and extreme discomfort. After a poorly executed "reorganization" of the company, we're seemingly worse off, doing far less revenue, way worse customer net promoter scores, zero customer service at a local level and have ZERO tools to compete with our main competitors: staffing companies. Oh right, but Shiftgig isn't a staffing company!
Pros
You are able to select work assignments based on your availability and preference. You have complete work flexibility.
Cons
Communication with staff support is very limited. It's very difficult to reach management on the phone. Communication between hourly employees and management is limited to emails.
Pros
Good staff. Found a good job because of them. Fast response from some staff members.
Cons
Some staff are not very good with communication. Had some problems with paycheck issues.
Pros
Casual dress code, snacks and beer!
Cons
The biggest con is the staff they are providing is predominantly for hospitality events and there is not 1 person left in the Shiftgig office with a background in hospitality. It is a joke. All the internal staff that actually cared and communicated with the specialists were let go by the new CEO right before Christmas. ( What a guy ) Staffing is done like a cattle call resulting in inexperienced specialists tasked with jobs they do not know how to do and they are set up for failure from jump. The upper management has no communication down the line and spend their days having meetings about...well having more meetings.
Pros
Was hired fast...and there was no interview except a quick look at my resume...fine by me..
Cons
Lack of communication and responsibility for their employees... I did one gig...that I never even got paid for....
Pros
you can work when you want. Nothing really else. That is the only benefits to this company. Its an application. That's literally it.
Cons
They are the most uncooperative group of individuals that I have ever met. Shiftgig does not know the definition of collaboration. Communication with them is difficult. They treat the employees like trash. They get paid for hiring not for keeping employee. They do not care about a soul. They just care about their check.
