Administration is all about the bottom line. Decisions are made based purely on finances and not what's best for students, faculty and staff. Tuition is very expensive and students and faculty are being short changed. Faculty pay is extremely low and work expectations are unreasonable. Multiple committees (average at any given time for me - 3), advising students, professional development, 4/4 teaching load. This leaves no time for scholarship, which you're also expected to have if you desire tenure.

people have been in their positions forever, are usually set in their ways, other fellow employees are out for themselves to the point of back stabbing each other. Salaries are way below par with positions else where. Due to being short on staff employees usually wear 3-4 hats and take on multiple job responsibilities sometimes to the point of it would be at least 2 full time jobs somewhere else.
