If you Like to Enjoy Work This Isn't for you

- Friday brunch - Dress down fridays - Beautiful location

Cons

- Incredible work load - Poor team ethic - Senior control have installed fear into the rest of the team - Expected to take on multiple duties which don't relate to your role - No freedom to suggest or help improve the company - Small company with no real desire to improve despite what they say - Ultimately you won't build a career there - Horrifically underpaid employees - You're barely allowed to talk in the office Probably worst of all is the fact that if you're 'lucky' enough to go to the states, etc. visiting a trade show don't think it's all fun and games, the work load increases and you'll be put in a night flight so that when you land in the UK (12ish) you can go straight back to work whilst the CEO and the Chief Editor go home to sleep.

I honestly find it very difficult to come up with pros only the office location was beautiful and most of the staff were awesome!

Cons

-excessive work load that is expected, not rewarded! -massively underpaid for your responsibilities and work load -"management" is basically a dictatorship who only knows how to rule with fear! - it was noted if you took your hour lunch break as if it was a bad thing - managerment treated staff like children who couldn't do anything themselves then tell you off for it. - management liked to play the blame game to the point in my time there i was blame and made to feel stupid for a situation i know wasnt my fault and was theres! One also told me i had a extra responsible for our trip so she could have me to blame if something went wrong.... -career building in the company is only possible if you sell them your soul and life! In summary, i actually meet some awesome people whilst i worked there its just management has ruined this company and makes working there hellish. The majority of the people i knew have all now left the company. Advice-don't work here.

Be careful of the management style

Pros

The staff are hard working and fun to be around when management are not about. Location is lovely and you have good contact with a worldwide customer base.

Cons

Management style is shocking, even though the senior team has had professional training - a blame culture or a dictatorship style could best describe leadership. The mood drops and staff hide when the senior management are in the office.
