Pros

- Salary package is good - Great working relationship with the people from other teams and business units - Retirement benefits for those working in the company for several years

Cons

- Lots of manual processes and redundant meetings. IT is not a priority by the bank. - Our team doesn't have visibility nor access to the bank's systems. It's harder to provide the best solution as we can't replicate their process and issues on our own. Documentation and user guides are even limited or not existing which is even more frustrating. - We relied heavily on what the stakeholders share on their screen. What's funny is that my manager expects us to know everything on a single discussion then gets angry when we miss something, but stakeholders unintentionally not mention those regardless of the questions. - Onboarding: not the best. Didn't get to apply what I learned immediately due to timing of hiring date. - Got hired by almost end of the year where the team's work was mostly done and my manager didn't want to give work. I ask if there are other tasks that I can do but there's none. He eventually gave me one, but I felt that it was only less than the bare minimum, which was both disappointing and demotivating for me. His excuse is that people across the company already scheduled their leaves for the holidays and we'll just wait for the start of the next year. I spent most of December watching HR-mandated videos and non-work related/self development activities instead of doing the actual work needed for my regularization. Lost motivation in the next few months after that. - Manager tends to mention things that are inappropriate to other members within our business unit and they don't want to directly get involved with him while working. Example is mentioning a newbie's probationary status to a stakeholder to gain "sympathy and support" for a project - I felt that my manager's way of setting "last minute" 9AM meetings was personal. One time, I'm supposed to prepare for an important meeting for a project but a last minute 1-on-1 on that same morning made me so demotivated and we were even late for that meeting. - I thought that I was the problem and gaslighted myself on not making a good performance and making excuses on my physical and mental health. But actually, he contributed to it and we really didn't mesh well at all. - Outside of work, people were persistent and kept asking me about my manager which I didn't understand at the time. I realized that the reason is due to past incidents they had with him.

Pros

- a lot of opportunity to build growth - very challenging in terms of obtaining new sales - steady career path - a good training ground

Cons

- very low salary - very INSUFFICIENT allowance - no meal or transportation allowances or reimbursements given for every sales event they expect from Sales Associates, even the salary itself won’t suffice for all their expectations for sales events - multiple priorities given in such a short period of time (they require focus on one product almost EVERY WEEK, making it difficult to identify which product is the ACTUAL FOCUS) - won’t recommend to fresh graduates if you have no spare cash - targets are obtainable but uncompetitive products to sell (especially CARDS) - NO COMMISSION (period) everything is just based off points and “thank you-s” - no regard for quality of turn ins with regards to cards - unreasonable expectations - they’re not satisfied if you don’t sell ALL the products
