Pros
A lot of great people there, plenty of social activities. Outwardly professional environment. Good experience for recent graduates. Opportunity for further career in Oil & Gas industry. Some limited opportunities in further R&D (publishing) and conferences.
Cons
Severe disconnect between senior management and employees. Hierarchical. Insufficient pay for the expected workload or required qualifications (engineering). Micromanagement. Little to no benefits outside of standard salary-sacrifice (pensions) and meagre bonuses in place of the inadequate salary increases. Owners highly resistant to change (very low working flexibility, poor website, poor communication with staff). The work itself is limited in scope.
