Pros
Talented, educated and lovely translators and project managers, outstanding IT and HR teams. Possibility of working remotely, private healthcare and pension schemes available. Overtime paid as salary or time-off-in-lieu. Better than most translation companies in the UK. You can learn a great deal and kick-start your career with a reputable company where you will actually get some decent experience.
Cons
Once a small family-run business with strong Nordic values, following the introduction of formal structure and change of MD, the company lost touch with its original values. The senior management make erratic decisions and constantly put out fires, whilst the middle management give orders and often make decisions without consulting project managers or translators. If you want to work hard and get a decent pay without the possibility of advancement, they are a good company to work for, but not if you are hoping to climb the ladder.
