Pros

Office location is great, free car parking, staff are friendly enough. If you are male there is opportunity to advance yourself doing Railway courses.

Cons

Management think it's ok to speak down (or shout) at you Static pay (no pay increase) To much deadwood, that sit about to sweet FA & get away with it, whilst hard workers get pulled up constantly No opportunities if you are female If your "family or friends" or your face fits you will get on in here Departments don't work together (defo a them & us culture)

Pros

Working pattern was fine with weekends off.

Cons

Attitude from one senior member of staff was atrocious at times. The second a bit of stress came they would turn. An abysmal attitude from the top which filtered down to staff. There were so many internal battles and friction amongst all departments, hardly anyone got on. Our small team got on fine but were lead by a manager who got sidetracked on other projects which were sadly failing. I genuinely can’t believe what I witnessed at times in there. On my very first day I knew I would leave the first opportunity I got which thankfully I did. Salary banding extremely poor also.
