Pros

- This company is good for people starting their career to build their experience as management is knowledgeable and will help you on your learning. - CPA program is good for reimbursement so tution fee is free if you don’t leave the company within 3 years of education so be mindful of that.

Cons

- This company is living in stone ages where alot of companies are going hybrid or remote. - Full 100% strength at work currently and during peak covid as they call themselves office type culture company. - Only allowed rotation work with heavy hears due to strict provincial guidelines. - This company likes to show off and high expenditure for show off in charity and business expansion. But nothing gets spend on employees at all - One of the miser company in the city - FAD program is a scam. They will make you feel you are important but in reality they don’t give a sh**. - Upper management have the sense of pride and they don’t talk humbly to people who are not at high level as them. - Bonus starts from Supervisor or assistant controller level where they will make you work like animals - Outdated systems and software. Still using excel all the way. For chat even though they are paying for Slack but it’s being used in some of the departments only. Rest of the company is using stone age messenger type chat software. - They will tell you about making accommodations for day care. Will take you to a meeting room and will come up with a weirdest deal ever to make you feel miserable. - During covid employees only got cookies and thank you by ceo for hard work. What a bulls**t thing to do when the company was the most profitable during covid for being in food business. - Don’t ask for promotion or salary increase as management doesn’t like things getting asked about because of their prestigious image. - VPs and Directors will think that their esteem position is for life outside work.

Pros

great work hours, in heart of downtown, structured working environment

Cons

way too much corporate politics, unfair treatment of employees both new and old, unhealthy rude and disrespectful working environment, management of traffic department is fake, sneaky and deceiving. lots of backstabbing amongst employees (including senior employees), survival of the fittest. no compassion about personal family issues from employer. willing to fire you on a moments notice. beware of this company.

Pros

- My direct manager was great and very understanding. - Good first job out of school to get experience. - Pay was good. - Some nice employees I still consider friends.

Cons

- Nepotism and favouritism in head office and likely across the company. - Extremely conservative environment/corporate culture. - Some sexism issues. - Difficulties being taken seriously by many employees. - Work environment that hinders creativity. - Disorganized and no sense for deadlines. - Upper management set in their old ways, afraid to try new things, and always have to have their hands in your work even if they don't really know anything about it. - Strict, professional dress code.
