Great Training , Reddit SCAM Reviews are Over exaggerated
Pros
- Learned more in 3 months then 4 years of CS BS degree - There are different batches of training but I wasn't given a choice - Training was fast paced and great learning opportunity - Prepares you for interviews - Pay minimum wage while in training (constant source of income while training)
Cons
- Relocation is mandatory - 2 year contract (I actually like the two year contract but most people don't. It means I will have a stable job for 2 years) - Pay during projects is low and not close to other developer in the industry but I understand why it is. Revature is a business at the end of the day. They need to make money to pay their trainers, associates etc. - Yes they take a portion of your salary but its your choice and you are getting trained
