Pros

Nothing special that other companies aren't offering

Cons

Initially their CEO and CTO acted very humble, I was hired as senior software engineer and their HR kept telling me I can't be senior software engineer until I'm leading a team, on the other hand their CTO kept telling me that HR is saying it wrong and I was senior software engineer. Second, they recruited me for JavaScript but allocated me on a java project and acted like they didn't know about it. I was really impressed by the so called humbleness of CTO that I decided to work on java despite having zero experience in it. I was allocated to fabric Inc which was a startup and working without any procedures and planning. They spent more than half of time in useless discussions with whole team of thirty people and yet there was no clarity on requirements and there was no one to answer questions. I kept CTO Talha in the loop and told him every problem but it was a useless thing to do. In the end, out of my frestration I requested my annual leaves for which they took two months to finalise and kept saying that they were talking to client and ultimately they approved my leave request followed by pulling me out of project after a week and finally laid me off just a day before my vacation by saying that I was having attitude problem. I started working on a new technology for them and waited for two months for leave approval, cancelled my plans for a foreign trip multiple times and they told me I was having attitude problem. By the way, they are not even honest to clients, before applying for vacation I was suffering badly and wanted to resign, Talha asked me to do two jobs simultaneously without telling client about it in order to keep me in the company. I always have better opportunities and I joined Turing for a salary four times as compared to what remotebase was paying me. Other cons including ineffective management, their non tech team is incapable. They had given me a loan to convince me to join and they forgot about loan and I myself reminded them and paid the amount. I'm still part of their slack, no one is taking care of it showing their inefficient management of things. They are not paying something huge, I had multiple similar offers at the time of joining. Leaves are very limited and they forced me to work on public holidays especially the religious holidays. They laid me off when I requested my annual leaves. They have very poor health coverage.

Pros

It started out great, people were understanding and more accommodating. Market standard salaries, but should've been USD pegged. ESOP The best thing is the flexibility to work and no time restriction. They provide with their own laptop for you to use which is just amazing. Used to have home office budget. A bit less but better than nothing. Don't know if its still offered or not. Insurance. Parents' insurance, employee, spouse and children'. Really happy with this. Still a good option as a fully remote position.

Cons

The company seems lost. Constantly trying to sell half baked products. Have tooo much expectation and always wanting the task to be complete yesterday so you're always late. Lack of vision. Can't change project once you're assigned as they do yearly contract with the client, they would keep giving you false hope to complete that contract. The company's client facing website has bugs too. Only like 2 or 3 QA persons, which are stretched thin. So quality of product goes to sh*t. Your increment would be poor if client complains for no reason. Poor management. The HR is only HR for 4 hours a week 🤣 LIED about two retreats a year. NO BONUS Sh*t ton of meetings. Expecting the developers to become AI experts overnight. Absolutely no communication among the hiring team. Every person would ask you the same f*cking thing over and over again. Nuked the legendary s-tiered memes channel?!

Pros

Flexible working hours. Good working colleagues. No micro-management. Annual retreats.

Cons

Very few impactful projects. Mostly POCs/short term projects, limited learning. Mass layoffs. Medical is below average. Few annual leaves. HR is almost non existent, they are available only for management decisions.
