Really wonderful organization with great coworkers and managers. Work here is satisfying only when you get to work directly with the youth.
Cons
The organization recently went through a leadership change with a new executive director . She is a novice inexperienced leader without any formal background or any understanding of the most important things that makeup a youth development organization. It is extremely difficult to work under this new leadership, as the leader tends to shut down voices within the organization through intimidation and threat. Poor work-life balance. Decisions tend to be made autocratically while touting a facade of collaborative decision making and group work. Inexperience shows up in people and program management. As a result people who I have worked with for years are leaving in droves.
