Pros

Perhaps consulting experience, not much else

Cons

Everything here applies to the consulting side of the company -Long work hours and poor work/life balance on the consulting side - working from 9am-8pm with random work related messages/phone calls from management until 10pm was common. Working late on Fridays/having to sign on during weekends was also common. These things would often be caused by poor direction from management -No/poor training - Management's idea of training is "look at our previous slides and figure it out". If you didn't know how to do something, and asked a manager for help, you would usually get a "I'm really surprised you didn't know this/don't know how to do this" or some other passive-aggressive comment before offering any assistance. They would then act surprised when no one wanted to talk with them or approach them with project related problems, allowing problems to fester and ultimately making more work that needs to be done -Generally poor management - Senior management played favorites and was incapable of accepting responsibility for their mistakes; blame would always be placed on more junior employees regardless if it was management's fault a project was over-scoped or overbooked with another project, or if they simply changed their minds mid-project on additional "nice-to-haves" which then became mandatory only to be dropped later on when deadlines were inevitably closing in and only things initially scoped out could be delivered. In my experience management was frequently petty with and demeaning/belittling towards junior employees, eagerly pouncing on any/every mistake regardless of severity (or lack thereof) while quietly excusing or hand-waving away any of their own. It's one thing to quickly and respectfully point out mistakes so that they can be learned from, fixed, and the final product improved; its quite another to loudly harp on a mistake - sometimes as simple as a spelling error - in front of the team for an extended amount of time before demanding it be fixed while offering no support or understanding. Over the course of my time at the company on the consulting side, turnover was extremely high, 4 positions on 6 person team including management
