Pros

Rawah Ranch is under new management led by Tim and Meg Dyer. Tim and Meg go out of their way to make sure each employee feels heard and taken care of. Rawah Ranch has taken advantage of the opportunity for growth and is continuing to expand in a positive direction. Staff housing and meals are included, both are terrific. Working here feels like home.

Cons

Rawah Ranch accepts guests on the weekends which impacts time off.

Pros

Beautiful property and lots of animals

Cons

I was there for 2 hours before I was asked to leave at 8pm. I had traveled 2000 miles to get there. No explanation. This place was in the middle of nowhere. I thought I was in some horror movie.

Pros

Pay was pretty good but I had extenuating circumstances. Beautiful location and has the potential to be really awesome. You meet some amazing people but...

Cons

It is a disorganized mess. Our employee turnover was greater last year than the number of employees on staff at the beginning of the year. Bruce (manager) is both completely incompetent and also was incredibly rude and verbally agressive using threats and bulling to the point where on multiple occasions I had to console coworkers who were literally crying. The owners are out of touch and because of lack of organization you will be poorly trained, not have expectations laid out clearly for you, then you will be asked to take on more responsibility than you signed up for and made to feel like the success or failure of their business is riding on you sucking it up and stepping up to the plate. This is a fun seasonal job not a sinking ship you're required to keep floating. There was also some questions about cash tips dissapearing.\ If you want to work at a Dude ranch you should, they are an amazing experience. Just don't work here. Lots of them hire off of coolworks so look there or on the dude ranch association website for other options. also the illegal immigrant thing was true from the other comment but they actually only paid one of them and the other two were told compensation was that they were paying to get them papers which I don't think ever happened so there is that too.
