Pros

Some senior managers were trying to make a difference

Cons

I felt there was somewhat of a bullying culture and unfairness from some senior managers.

Pros

Organisation has a solid reputation in London. It’s a great place to work. HR team is really good and helpful.

Cons

My role was in the Membership servicing team and the team needed a better manager. Micro management within the team wasn’t a good management approach. However overall culture and policies of organisation are good.

Pros

Some lovely colleagues who try their best. Flexible working. Interesting learning about the profession and being around creative people trying to do good in the world. Freedom to develop projects and direct your own workload.

Cons

The organisation is very hierarchical and political with frequent infighting amongst senior leadership team. Too many managers without enough frontline staff to actually deliver the work, leading to stress and burnout. Lack of career progression with high turnover and hardworking people leaving.
