Pros

- When things are going well the benefits are great, including private healthcare and "Unlimited" holidays. - There are some great people working for CTS who are always happy to help you out. - The business offers a great deal of flexibility including regular home working.

Cons

- Management. There have been far too many senior management/board level changes in the past 18 months. This constant uncertainty and change is troublesome for most employees and is not conducive to growth and/or job satisfaction. - Staff turnover is extremely high as employees who does not conform to management's views are effectively managed out of the business. This only feeds the God Complex that certain board members seem to have developed. - Hard working members of staff are never rewarded appropriately and are consistently weighed down by the incompetence of some of their colleagues. This is a historic problem that's been ongoing for the last 4 years.

Thanks for your feedback, and apologies that it's taken us a while to respond. We're glad you enjoyed our benefits whilst you were with us and you're right, our people are always happy to help! We understand your comments about the management changes; unfortunately, we did go through a period of high change in 2019 but we're happy to say that we've now got a great leadership team and a clear direction! Our employee turnover has also dropped too since we got ourselves into shape with an average of 2.9% turnover (down from 4.2% we must say...) So hopefully you'll reconsider us one day. We truly fail fast and try to encourage the same of our employees!

Pros

Nice office in Manchester city centre. Good benefits package including private insurance. Fast-paced growth, which could benefit you if you’re friends with management.

Cons

They talk a lot about diversity but their focus seems to be on junior roles rather than a balance across all levels. Management (on CTS services side) wants to make it seem like they care but they only listen and take advise into consideration if it benefits them. If there’s any constructive feedback or criticism, they take it as an attack and things remain the same. They’ve been hiring many senior roles, and the vast majority seem to have a previous professional relationship with a couple of people leading the company. Don’t let the recruitment process fool you! They conduct interviews to “make sure the process is fair” even if it’s clear they’ve already made a decision before the recruitment process even started. HR won’t help at all unless it fits the company’s agenda and some are even patronising when you raise an issue, making it seem like it’s all on you and not a toxic work environment. I joined a fantastic company, it’s a shame that it’s changed so much!

Pros

Agree with this: -Appsbroker is a friendly and welcoming company. -The CEO, MD, and Management are all approachable. -We have fun! We have great social events

Cons

1) Why take the time to write a positive review on a website known for being a place for the occasional disgruntled employee to have the last (and damaging) word? A) They are disgruntled for a reason! 2) Simply because as a current employee with 4 years of service, want to set the record straight! I’ve seen a lot during my time here at Appsbroker A) Generally a reshuffle or management change every few months. 3) The work is interesting, challenging and fast-paced. A) The work is customer driven therefore there's often not a lot of work about. 4) You have the freedom to shape and develop your own role and your own career. A) Opportunity rarely comes up and everyone can guess who will get it. 5) It is easy to see how I directly impact the business. I feel appreciated and rewarded. A) A line directly from the staff survey. 6) The opportunities are here, if you want them. As the company grows, so can you. A) And you're well enough in with management. Teams are created or reshuffled and people promoted without any wider knowledge before the announcement it has happened. 7) The benefits are great-- generous annual leave, great pension plan, life assurance plan paid at 4x basic salary, access to an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), enhanced maternity and paternity pay, childcare vouchers, bike to work scheme, use of the company ski chalet, employee referral scheme…… A) So good I have no clue what an EAP is. Built up slowly and still not matching most other companies 8) We just keep improving as the years go by. Don't you want to be a part of something like that? A) Keep repeating the same cycle.
