Dear Anonymous Employee,
I do feel compelled to respond to your negative review about working at Pyramide. The industry of corporate video is brimming with low budgets, and I think all corporate video productions companies do a fair bit of this work. Our purpose is to serve our clients in all of their video needs, and sometimes that means we work with what they have. We do regularly book work with budgets between $25k - 80k . I disagree that Pyramide is a bad place to have a career due to the volume of lower budget work we take on, while I don't discredit that it might not have been a great fit you. No company can be right for everyone. I do believe the experience that our employees gain in working with Fortune 100 companies is of great value, and does help people grow in our field. Because we are a team of only ten, it is common for our employees to work for 2 to 5 years and then move on to where ever their passions lead. It doesn't make it a bad place to work.
Pyramide is a team of ten and run by myself, so I clearly will have to disagree about non-existent leadership as well. I eat, sleep, breath Pyramide and work just as hard for my employees and contractors and I do for my clients. There was a period of 10 months where I did manage the company remotely to travel the world. It was an experience of a life-time, but I assume you must have worked here during that time. I apologize if you didn't feel supported during your employment. As a business owner sometimes we have to indulge in life, and that does flow down into the business.
In closing, I think Pyramide today is a well oiled machine with incredible talent that like the work/life balance we offer, and enjoy having time to pursue their personal creative projects outside of work.
