      Toxic teammates in the SDET team ruining the culture of the company

      Just fed up of the seniors and other teammates working alongside me who keep speaking nonsense about others on secret Slack channels and have spoiled the culture of the company and I believe this is the general culture of the company. The main culprits leading this are Sony and her teammates from the SDET team. They don’t just keep speaking ill of their teammates but also of their clients and support team members of the tools they have subscribed to

      Good pay. Decent learning. Pace of work is fast. Remote jobs.

      Leaders take a call about firing people too often. Silent layoffs are very common. Culture is not the best - Accomplishments are not acknowledged. Only the mistakes are highlighted. This was true in atleast 3 teams that I was personally aware of during my tenure. Prophecy loves to hire high performers and not acknowledge their work. There are quite a few people who work very hard for a long time as the job demands it. They eventually burnout but don't get much support from higher ups. I highly doubt the newer managers are trained to be middle management. WLB does not exist in Prophecy.
